Purpose of Position: The Project Operations Assistant works with the Executive Director, Community Engagement and Education Director, and the Technical Director to prepare, organize, and assist with projects at the George Daily Auditorium.

Description of Duties & Responsibilities: The Program Operations Assistant is for work-study students seeking experience working in theatre, creative arts, non-profit administration, or project/program management fields. Duties include helping plan and implement operations for projects, initiatives, performances, and programs at the George Daily Auditorium. Program Operations Assistants will work with the three major facets of Auditorium Operation: The Professional Touring Season, Educational Programming, and Community Resource Initiatives.

Required Qualifications: Students must be able to communicate with supervisors clearly and concisely. They must be willing to be curious and learn skills as they are needed to be performed at the Auditorium. Students must be willing to work with children as our educational programming does include working with our Youth Theatre. Program Operations Assistants must be willing to work outside of regular business hours during the Professional Touring season.

Work Schedule (Days & Times): We will work with your schedule to build what works for you. Generally, hours are during regular business hours (8am-5pm), but there are times where schedules are outside of regular business hours for events in the Professional season and in the community.

Hourly Wage: $10.00
