Jay Christensen, M.H.A.

Assistant Professor of Business Management | Business Administration Division Chair

Jay Christensen brought over 30 years of Business Leadership and Change Management skills to WPU in the fall of 2018, when he became a member of the faculty as an Instructor of Business Management.

By adapting his teaching methods for each course, Jay is able to work innovatively in his classes through the use of video presentations, guest speakers, group projects, and community involvement. Jay works very hard to avoid his courses becoming just a series of lectures. To accomplish that, he works individually with his students through mentorship, internships or job shadowing, and special projects.

When he’s not teaching courses, Jay enjoys physical exercise, supporting the William Penn Statesmen and the Iowa Hawkeyes, in addition to spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jay has had the fortune of coaching various sports teams that his son has participated in as well.
