With over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, Javin Sword brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to William Penn University. After a successful career at Wells Fargo, where Mr. Sword rose from an analyst, a developer, an architect, software engineer and manager to his final position as Vice President, he played a pivotal role in transitioning the company to cloud computing technology and has embarked on a new journey in academia.

Javin Sword’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Information Management. His journey as a low-income student has deeply influenced his teaching philosophy, fostering a strong commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

At William Penn University, Javin is passionate about integrating AI tools and technologies into the curriculum, aiming to revolutionize education through personalized and engaging learning experiences. He is also leading initiatives to implement a suite of AI tools across the college, driving innovation and enhancing the learning environment.

Javin Sword previously served as an adjunct professor at William Penn University, where he gained invaluable teaching experience. As he transitions into this full-time role, Javin is excited to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of tech professionals.
