Haluk Kucuk
Associate Professor of Engineering

Haluk Kucuk holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey, obtained in 1993 and 1995, respectively. He also earned an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey, in 1995, followed by a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering–Engineering Mechanics from Michigan Technological University, USA, in 1999. His professional journey includes roles as an Integration Engineer at General Motors, Milford Proving Grounds, Michigan, USA, and faculty positions within the Mechatronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering Departments at Marmara University, Turkey. He served as the Chair of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Kucuk also held the role of Committee Chair for Biomedical Research at the Scientific Research Council of Turkey under the Technology and Innovation Support Programs. He further enriched his career as a professor of robotics and artificial intelligence in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona, Spain. Later, he developed IoT and Cybersecurity courses during his tenure as an Assistant Professor of Mechatronics within the School of Engineering and Technology at Lake Superior State University. Presently, Dr. Kucuk works as an Associate Professor of Engineering within the Applied Technology Division at William Penn University.
