WPU to Offer Various Ticketing Options for Upcoming Year

The William Penn Athletics Department is excited to announce it will provide a plethora of ticketing options for the 2018-2019 school year.

The Statesmen will now give their passionate fanbase choices to how they would like to follow the navy and gold, ranging from a family season pass for $250, a couples season pass for $200, an individual season pass for $125, and a 10-game punch pass for $50.

In addition to the season pass options, WPU is also making changes to align with the current climate of intercollegiate sports.  In addition to charging admission at football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling events, the University will now also charge at soccer and softball.

Single-game ticket prices will see a small increase with football and basketball now at $8 for adults, volleyball and wrestling at $7, and soccer and softball at $5.  To recognize their contributions, WPU alumni, as well as military members and first responders, will receive discounted admission.  Children between the ages of 5-18 will be charged $3 per event.

“Our new season pass and ticket structure is designed to give our fans friendly options for an affordable entertainment experience,” Athletics Director Nik Rule said.  “We have also added a price category for our alumni, first responders, and active military to recognize their contribution to our University, community, and nation.  We are really excited for our seasons to begin and cannot wait to deliver a great experience for those attending our home games.”

Season tickets can be purchased through the William Penn Advancement Office by calling 641-673-1044 or by stopping by Penn Hall Room 213.

The Statesmen men’s and women’s soccer teams tip off the 2018-2019 sports seasons next Wednesday, August 22, hosting Waldorf in a non-conference doubleheader at Drost Field at 5 p.m.
