About William Penn University

Focused on both liberal arts and professional studies, William Penn University serves around 1,500 students from its campus in Oskaloosa, as well as in Johnston. The school was founded in 1873 by Quaker settlers. While Penn’s core curriculum is rooted in Quaker beliefs and heritage, students of all backgrounds make up its enrollment.
