William Penn University will welcome alumni back to campus for Homecoming 2026, October 22–24.
This year, the University is especially encouraging members of the Classes of 1956, 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006, 2011, and 2016 to return to Oskaloosa. These class years mark milestone reunions ranging from 10 to 70 years.
Homecoming activities begin Thursday, October 22, with the Sully Big Band Concert at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and will kick off the weekend’s Homecoming events.
Activities will continue Friday and Saturday, giving alumni opportunities to return to campus and catch up with former classmates. Friday’s schedule includes the Ed Thomas Memorial Golf Outing, the All Alumni Reunion Picnic, campus tours, and the Alumni Recognition Banquet.
Saturday will feature a full day of Homecoming traditions and Statesmen athletics. The morning begins with the Athletic Hall of Fame presentation, followed by the Women’s Volleyball Alumni Game. Statesmen soccer, football, and volleyball will compete throughout the day, with football taking on Clarke at noon. Athletic Hall of Fame honorees will also be recognized at halftime.
William Penn Cheer and Dance alumni are invited back Saturday to return to the sidelines and perform alongside current Statesmen during the Homecoming football game.
Homecoming 2026 will also mark President John Ottosson’s final Homecoming as president of William Penn University. Alumni returning this fall will have the opportunity to be part of his final Homecoming during his last academic year at Penn.
