William Penn University, Musco Celebrate Partnership with Musco Night Football Game

William Penn University and Musco Sports Lighting are teaming up to bring an exciting evening of football, entertainment, and community celebration to Oskaloosa with the Musco Night football game on Thursday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m. as the Statesmen host Graceland University at Statesmen Community Stadium, located at the Lacey Recreation Complex.

The special event will feature the latest in sports lighting and entertainment technology during team introductions, for touchdown celebrations, and throughout the game. Four Musco Light™ Mobile Lighting trucks and the MuscoMAX™ videoboard will help create an unforgettable fan experience unlike anything previously seen at a William Penn football game.

While the lights and entertainment will provide plenty of excitement, the event also celebrates a partnership that has benefited William Penn University and the Oskaloosa community for decades.
William Penn University and Musco Sports Lighting share a longstanding relationship rooted in innovation, philanthropy, and a commitment to improving opportunities for students and community members. Musco’s partnership with the university has helped strengthen William Penn’s future and improve the student experience. Collaborations have included athletic lighting enhancements, technology and facility investments, and support for programs that serve students and families across the region.

As Musco celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026, they continue to be the global leader in sports and large-area lighting, illuminating venues ranging from local parks and schools to professional stadiums and international sporting events. Members of the Oskaloosa community can pick up complimentary tickets for the Musco Night football game at Musco Sports Lighting, 211 2nd Avenue West, or at the William Penn University Office of Advancement, located in Penn Hall, Room 210. Community members can also pick up tickets at local businesses including Trio Entertainment Complex, Smokey Row Coffee, Elmhurst Grille, and more. Members of the William Penn University Advancement office will be passing out tickets in the community over the next week.
