Dance/Cheer Recruit Clinics

Join William Penn University Cheer and Dance for our Recruit Clinics on Saturday, October 10! These clinics are open to all high school athletes interested in experiencing what it’s like to be part of the Statesmen Cheer and Dance programs.

Participants will have the opportunity to work with William Penn coaches and student-athletes, develop their skills, and learn more about competing at the collegiate level.

By registering for and participating in a William Penn University camp, clinic, event, or program (“Program”), the participant and/or parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees that participation in camps, clinics, athletic activities, recreational activities, academic programs, and related events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bodily injury, illness, permanent disability, emotional distress, property damage, and death. The participant and/or parent or legal guardian voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the Program. On behalf of myself and/or my minor child, I release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless William Penn University, its trustees, officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, students, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the Program, including transportation to and from Program activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I certify that the participant is physically able to participate in Program activities and has no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. I understand that it is my responsibility to provide any necessary medical information, medications, allergies, or emergency contact information prior to participation. In the event of illness or injury, I authorize William Penn University staff and representatives to secure appropriate medical treatment for the participant, including emergency medical care if necessary. I understand that any medical expenses incurred are my responsibility. I grant William Penn University permission to photograph, video record, livestream, and otherwise capture the participant’s image, voice, likeness, statements, artwork, or performance during participation in the Program. I authorize William Penn University to use these materials for educational, promotional, marketing, recruitment, fundraising, social media, website, print, advertising, and other lawful university purposes without compensation or further approval. I understand that all photographs, video recordings, and related materials become the property of William Penn University and may be used in perpetuity unless otherwise prohibited by law. I understand that participants are expected to follow all William Penn University policies, Program rules, and staff instructions. William Penn University reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or detrimental to the Program environment without refund. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Liability Waiver and Media Release, and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
