Dana M. Atkins Memorial Union

The Dana M. Atkins Memorial Union has served as a gathering spot for students and visitors since 1966. Home to several meeting rooms including the Chief Mahaska Room, Mahaska State Bank Room, and Scheuermann Room as well as the Dining Hall, Game Room, and WPU Bookstore. The Union is a hub for activity on the Oskaloosa campus.

Edwin McGrew Fine Arts Center

The Edwin McGrew Fine Arts Center was dedicated in 1973 for the president of William Penn from 1917-1928 and 1936-1942. It houses classrooms and studios for several fine art programs, and provides students with supplies and space for projects. The Ware Recital Hall is also located within the building, where many theater performances are held.

Musco Technology Center (MTC)

WPU opened the doors of the Musco Technology Center in 2008. Within the building, students have access to state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, giving them practical experience before graduation. The Applied Technology Division holds most of its classes here, along with the Digital Communication program.

Penn Activity Center (PAC)

The Penn Activity Center was opened in 2008 on the west side of campus. The facility has a variety of recreational space and equipment, including two basketball courts, artificial turf, and an indoor track. The PAC’s second and third floors have classrooms, biology labs, faculty offices, and the PAC Cafe.

Penn Gymnasium

Penn Hall

As one of the oldest buildings on the university campus, Penn Hall has undergone several transformations over the years; both structurally and functionality. Classrooms are located on all four stories, along with administrative offices located on the second level. All classrooms are easily accessible and are equipped with the tools and technology needed for students to be successful.

Spencer Chapel

Spencer Chapel, in its Georgian Colonial design, was the first building to be erected after the college became established on the new campus. Its cornerstone was laid in October 1921 and the building was dedicated in 1923. While it currently lies unused, renovations are underway.

Wilcox Library

Wilcox Library provides a quiet place for students to study, relax, and conduct research. With tutoring services, collections of physical and online resources, and computers, Wilcox library offers the knowledge and resources that students need to succeed in the classroom.
