JOB SUMMARY: Teach introductory and college level writing courses.
DEPARTMENT: Academic Affairs – Humanities
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters in English or a related degree and teaching experience.

REPORTS TO: Humanities Division Chair
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Provide an education with a Leadership and Technology focus, and enliven that provision through adherence to the Quaker principles of simplicity, peace-making, integrity, community, and equality.
B. Represents the College in a positive manner with prospective, current, and former students, employees, and the community.
C. Demonstrates enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude in meeting and dealing effectively and courteously with students, other personnel, and all members of the community.
D. Interprets departmental and/or college policies and procedures.
E. Works harmoniously with others.
F. Performs in a manner which benefits student learning.
G. This position may require travel.
H. This position may require occasional weekend and evening hours.
I. Other duties as assigned.
