Distance Learning is an innovative program offered by William Penn University’s Education Division to reach non-traditional students. The program overcomes barriers that non-traditional students face in obtaining their teaching degrees and endorsements. It provides the tools and support to help students fulfill their dreams. Associate of Arts Degree

Earn your Associate of Arts in Leadership Studies in 2 ½ years. AA classes meet evenings and alternate Saturdays.

Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education

If you already have your AA degree, apply for our 2 ½ year Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education program. BA classes meet evenings and alternate Saturdays. Special education, reading, and ESL endorsements are available.

English as a Second Language (K-12)

This 18 credit hour program is designed for teachers and administrators who want to add the ESL K-12 endorsement to a current Iowa educator’s license.

Reading (K-8)

This 27 credit hour program is an option for educators who would like to add the Reading (K-8) endorsement to a current Iowa educator’s license.

Strategist I (K-8)

This is a 26 credit hour program for teachers looking to add the Strategist I (K-8) endorsement to a current Iowa educator’s license
