Assisting students who are in need of tutoring and guiding them to additional resources if needed
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
The position of Academic Tutor includes working with individual students and groups in the preparation of papers, speeches, tests, homework assignments; helping students learn the concepts of particular classes; leading study sessions; helping students learn how to learn and study; helping students with time management and organization skills; guiding students to additional resources; any other duties assigned by Director or Assistant Director of the Student Success Program
Required Qualifications:
Preferably junior or senior standing, cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, at least one semester completed at William Penn University, excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, timely, and positive attitude about WPU and tutoring
Work Schedule–Days & Times
Possible schedule times:
Monday-Friday: 9am-3pm
Monday-Thursday: 5pm-9pm
Hourly Wage
$10.00
