All students are encouraged to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Although vaccines will not be mandated, those providing proof of vaccination will not be subject to the weekly random surveillance testing and entry testing. Those vaccinated will be exempt from quarantine when found to be a close contact of a person positive for COVID-19, so long as they are not symptomatic.
Students who are vaccinated must provide proof of vaccination prior to arrival on campus. The university will conduct at least one vaccine clinic in August, in partnership with Mahaska Health Partnership for those who decide to be vaccinated once on campus.
If you have already been vaccinated, you may share the proof of this to us by uploading the information at the following link. Students that do not have this submitted by the time they arrive on campus will be subject to a COVID test.
