I am reaching out today to reassure you that we are monitoring developments with COVID-19 closely. The Iowa Department of Public Health has announced the first case in Mahaska County. This is a reminder to us all to follow the CDC suggested precautions including handwashing, social distancing, not gathering in crowds of 10 or more and not going out in the community unless necessary. If you are feeling ill, please call our Sports Medicine office on campus at 641-673-1293. Our Sports Medicine staff is working closely with Mahaska Health Partnership on any COVID-19 related concerns.
