Career Services

About

Services are available to prospective students, current students, alumni, staff, faculty, and community members. We provide career exploration opportunities such as job shadowing and internship programs, part-time jobs during the school year and summers, and help with job placement as students near graduation.

Career Services strives to provide resources and information on topics such as job search strategies, resume and cover letter development, interview techniques, occupational outlook, job market trends, graduate programs, and technology impact on the job search. Additionally, Career Services organizes one or two Career Fairs for students, alumni, and the community, hosted by William Penn University.

Beware!!!

Job searching for summer, internships, or post-grad positions? Be careful of the personal information you share ahead of being offered the job and filling out paperwork or signing contracts. Legitimate employers should NOT be requiring your Social Security Number before you have officially accepted a position, and then working with their Human Resources representatives to complete required paperwork. IF you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to ask Career Services for guidance. (AND, you should not have to pay a fee to apply for a legitimate position.) BEWARE!
