POSITION TITLE: Data-Prospect Researcher Graduate Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Advancement

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience: Attention to details and recording of data
Abilities:
  • Maintain confidentiality of data
  • Independent decision making and ability to exercise good judgment;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete assigned tasks and meeting deadlines;
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented, time management, relationship building, and communication skills essential

POSITION SUMMARY:

To help foster that community, Graduate Assistants will lead by example and help others’ leadership capabilities, employ relevant technologies, and actively demonstrate the Quaker virtues of simplicity, peace-making, integrity, community, and equality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must maintain confidentiality of material/data
  • Research on alumni/donor address
  • Assist with CAMS data updates/entry
  • Build donor profile
  • May assist with field report entry from Development Officers
  • Develop/compile stories/surveys & results from incremental years of alumni
  • Assist with special events coordination within the Advancement Office
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Available to give tours to visiting alumni
  • Ambassador, promote WPU, its program and experiences
  • All Other duties as assigned.

REPORTS TO: VP for Advancement

START DATE: August 1, 2023

REPLACEMENT OR NEW POSITION: Replacement

FULL TIME/PART-TIME/TEMP: Graduate Assistant (Temporary) minimum of 2 years
