William Penn University Announces Launch of New Website
William Penn University, a private university that offers both liberal arts and professional degrees on undergraduate and graduate levels, recently announced the launch of a newly revamped website. The new website has a clean and uncluttered design, improved functionality, and enhanced visual content focused on the University’s rich Quaker heritage, educational delivery methods, and other opportunities. The redesigned site offers quick and easy access to essential information for both internal and external audiences and features a more compelling visual presence of the University’s innovative approach to higher education. The website also has a comprehensive degree filter to streamline searches by campus location, delivery method, and degree. The purpose of this feature is to show potential and current students the available options that meet their necessary criteria, allowing students to tailor an education to their personal needs.
The new and completely redesigned website offers current and prospective students, as well as alumni, a richer insight into the University’s opportunities, academic programs, and history. Profiles for faculty and staff are available as well, giving the public a personal, in-depth look at educators currently teaching at the University.
“This new website is the culmination of many months and long hours of work from our staff,” said William Penn University President John Ottosson. “We are thrilled with the results and are confident that it is a more engaging and comprehensive presentation of the mission and presence of William Penn University. It is also more user friendly for our current students as well as faculty and staff. This will be a vibrant and changing look at Penn as we continue to progress.”
William Penn University’s new website will be updated on a regular basis with University news, alumni and student profiles, awards and milestones, events, and course information. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website at https://www.wmpenn.edu.
About William Penn University
Founded in 1873, William Penn University is a private university located in both Oskaloosa and Clive, Iowa, offering liberal arts and professional degrees on undergraduate and graduate levels. William Penn University provides the opportunity for an educational experience with a focus on leadership, technology, and the Quaker principles of simplicity, peace-making, integrity, community, and equality. To realize a powerful vision for the future, it takes an equally powerful history from which to gain the necessary knowledge, perspective, and perseverance. Founded in 1873 by Quaker settlers who strongly valued education and named for the Quaker William Penn, the University was located in Oskaloosa and graduated its first class in 1875. Since our founding, we’ve persevered through a 1916 fire that destroyed the original campus, transitioned from college to university status, led the way in educational programs for working adults, and greatly expanded our campus and facilities.
