Position Title: Social Media Assistant

Department: Marketing & Communications

Work Location: Penn Hall 209

Description of Duties and Responsibilities: 

Create content for the University’s Social Media Channels and other platforms.

  • Create social media content
  • Monitor various social media platforms
  • Create content for other platforms as needed
  • Organize current creative assets

Required Qualifications: 

  • Proficient in social media and a variety of social media channels
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Video and production skills are a plus
  • InDesign and Photoshop experience preferred, but not required
  • Creative thinker with a positive attitude

Work Schedule (Days & Times): Weekdays – can be flexible with student’s schedule

Hourly Wage: $7.25

Employment Start Date and Employment End Date: September 2, 2020 to April 23, 2021
