Stephanie Edgren, M.A.
Instructor | Elementary Education / Reading Specialist

Stephanie Edgren joined the Education Division faculty at William Penn University in August 2021 after a diverse teaching career that spanned over 25 years and 3 states: Massachusetts, Florida, and Iowa. Having taught at the elementary and middle school level, as well as having supported students and teachers as an Instructional Coach, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students. As a lifelong learner, she spends a great deal of time reading and participating in professional development opportunities to stay up to date with research-based instructional practices. While she loves all aspects of education, her passion and area of professional specialization is literacy. Stephanie strives to create engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of undergraduate and non-traditional students alike. She believes developing positive relationships with students is at the heart of teaching. Stephanie feels blessed to be able to support students as they work toward achieving their goal of becoming effective educators. Outside of teaching Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and son on the family farm, reading, taking walks with her dogs, and listening to music.
