Sharon DeKock MSN, BSN, RN, RNC

Assistant Director of Nursing

Sharon DeKock is  a full-time Nursing Instructor and Student Advisor for the Nursing Division at William Penn University. Sharon graduated in 1988 from Wichita State University with a BSN and completed her MSN at the University of Phoenix in 2004. Sharon has provided years of nursing education in both academia and in health care organizations. Sharon also has experience in leadership, development of new programs, and process improvement in the healthcare setting. Sharon’s clinical love and specialty is Maternal-Child nursing although she has intensive care, home care nursing, infection control, and accreditation experience.

Sharon is passionate about the profession of nursing; what is stands for and the opportunity to make a difference to patients, communities, and the way care is provided. She has been a practicing nursing for 33 years and has been a WPU instructor since 2015.
