Randall M. Wright, M.A.
Director of Theatre

Serving as both the Director of Theatre at William Penn and the Executive Director of the George Daily Auditorium in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Professor Wright stays busy. When he isn’t teaching or directing, he also works as a consultant with school districts and communities building new theatres. Professor Wright said he especially enjoys the fact that WPU is small enough that he can get to know each of his students as individuals and he can see them in their sport and cultural activities outside of the classroom. “I am able to get to know them as the total person they are and not just the student I see in the classroom,” he said. Through his connection with the George Daily Auditorium, Professor Wright is able to provide students with direct access to professional performers, crews, and arts management experiences. Students regularly work with professional performances that are brought into the George Daily Auditorium, and all Penn students receive free admission to all of the professional shows.
