Markus Haala, M.F.A.

Assistant Professor of New Media & Communication | New Media Division Chair

Markus Haala joined the William Penn University Faculty in the fall of 2019. In 2011 he graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He continued on to obtain a M.F.A. in Visual Arts from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2019. To create his work, he utilizes state-of-the-art technology such as 3D scanning and printing and laser cutting in order to create objects that embrace concepts of the natural and the artificial, the organic and the synthetic.
