Position Title: Instructor of Education or Assistant Professor of Education                           

Department: Education Division

Position Requirements and Preferences:

Requirements: Elementary special education experience is required.  Master’s degree in education and a minimum of three years K-12 teaching experience is required.

Preferences: Doctorate in education or related fields (ABD may apply), ESL teaching experience, college teaching face-to-face and online, and elementary teaching experience are preferred.


Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

The candidate must be qualified to teach a variety of special education classes.  This position is tenure track eligible.

Position includes classroom teaching on campus and online, student advising, field experience supervision, and committee responsibilities.

Reports to: Education Division Chair

Start Date: August 2018
