SUMMARY:WPU High School Honor Band
DESCRIPTION:The William Penn University Music Department will host the 3rd Annual High School Honor Band on Monday\, November 10\, 2025 on its campus.   241 students from 26 area high schools will participate in 2 bands (11th and 12th grade Honor Band and 9th and10th grade Honor Band).   Rehearsals will take place in the Musco Technology Center and the Chief Mahaska Room located in the Atkins Student Union.  Each Band will present a performance that evening at the George Daily Auditorium at 7:00 pm.  The evening’s repertoire will include overtures\, marches\, lyrical\, novelty and other wind band genres.  \n\n\nThe event is under the direction of William Penn’s Director of Athletic Bands\, James DePrizio and Assistant Teaching Professor of Music\, Scott Cressley. \n\n\nAdmission to the concert is free.
