DESCRIPTION:The William Penn University Department of Fine Arts proudly presents the William Penn University/Community Concert Band performance\, scheduled for April 21\, 2025\, at 7:00 PM. This highly anticipated event will take place at the George Daily Auditorium in Oskaloosa\, Iowa. Attendees will be treated to an evening of exceptional musical selections\, including transcriptions and arrangements of classical and contemporary pieces. The program features works such as “Overture: The Magic Flute” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\, “Suite from Man Of La Mancha” by Mitch Leigh\, and selections from popular scores like “Avengers: Endgame\,” “Les Miserables\,” and “The Phantom Of The Opera.” Conductors Andrew Hols\, James DePrizio\, Isaiah Vertz\, Scott Cressley\, and Emma Carmean will lead the talented ensemble of musicians\, including students\, alumni\, and faculty of William Penn University. This event is a celebration of musical artistry and community collaboration\, promising an unforgettable experience for all who attend.
