Position Title: Full-Time Applied Computer Science Faculty

Position Requirements and Preferences:
Must have master’s degree in computer science or related field or master’s degree in another area with 18 graduate credits in computer science or related field (computer science preferred). Must have proven success teaching and good classroom management skills.
Position Summary:
The William Penn University Applied Technology Division invites applications for a full-time faculty member in Applied Computer Science beginning Fall 2023 to teach applied computer science classes including programming, software engineering, and general technology education. Rank and tenure dependent upon qualifications. William Penn University is a teaching institution – the candidate must be an innovative instructor who uses research-based pedagogical strategies. Candidates must be forward-thinking, student-centered, and work collaboratively and collegially. Expectations include effective advising, effective use of technology, student-learning assessment, service, and professional development. This is a full-time teaching position and does not offer time off for research.
