Purpose of Job
Continuous updates on social media platforms for program, and communications with recruits.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Student workers would frequently update posts on various social media platforms for the department for exposure and recruiting efforts, using past and gaining current pictures/videos throughout the semester. Workers would also help searching online for music students who would find WPU as a great option with our opportunities to play and gain scholarships, yet not pursuing a music degree.
Workers would also assist the Director contacting recruits and following up on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have great phone and txt communication skills, supporting WPU and relating to current recruits. Must have experience with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others. Applicants should be interested in developing marketing skills with both hard copy and online innovations to help promote the Athletic Bands and increase recruiting. Applicants should also have computer experience with Excel, Photoshop, Photoshop Premier and/or other photo and video editing programs.
Work Schedule–Days & Times
9:00 am to 9:00 pm weekdays are available and some during weekends. Would like to coordinate 2-4 hour options depending on their schedules. Some hours can be flexible.
