Counseling Center
The Counseling Center is located in Atkins Memorial Union on the second floor and is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Its services are free to all registered students and to staff.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 673-1703 or email Frank Sims at simsf@wmpenn.edu. You can also just stop by the center.
If you are having a mental health emergency, please contact* New Directions at 672-3159 before 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or 672-3100 after 5 p.m. or on weekends. Help is available through New Directions 24 hours a day.
*Please ask New Directions if there is a cost to services it provides.
The Counseling Center offers a variety of services to help William Penn students achieve their educational and personal goals. We provide confidential individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, conflict resolution and referrals. As a student, you can work with a counselor in a safe and supportive environment and explore your concerns to gain a better understanding of yourself and work towards resolution of your difficulties.
