Family Weekend September 27 - 28!

Brunch at Family Weekend 2007

      William Penn University will hold Family Weekend September 27 – 28. This annual event provides an opportunity for family members of Penn students to familiarize themselves with the university and city of Oskaloosa.
      Activities taking place on Saturday, September 27, include a tour of the new activity center and Musco Technology Center, a brunch, Statesmen football vs. Taylor at 1:00 p.m., women’s soccer vs. Clarke College at 5:00 p.m., and men’s soccer vs. Clarke at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Sunday, September 28, for students and their families to attend. Families must make reservations in advance for the tour of the new buildings and the brunch. Registration forms are due to the Public Relations Office on September 12.
      “Having our students’ families on campus is always a fun time because we enjoy learning more about our students and where they came from,” said Vice President for Advancement Steven C. Noah. “We also appreciate the support of the community in welcoming the families to Oskaloosa.”
