William Penn University students senior Nik Rule and junior Janna Carson share the same hometown of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and will serve on the university’s Student Government Association as president and vice president respectively during the 2008 – 2009 academic year. Living 20 hours away from their hometown, the two find comfort in being able to relate to experiences they have in Oskaloosa and Idaho Falls.

Over 200 students participated in William Penn University’s Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 3. This marked the first graduation in the new Penn Activity Center on Campus.

Students took a break in-between the last week of classes and finals week to kick back and relax at the university’s annual Pennstock event. This year’s Pennstock was “Gladiator Edition” where students participated in activities such as bouncy boxing, gladiator assault challenge and bungee run.
