William Penn offers R.N.s a relevant, quality curriculum to complete the B.S.N., built on the studies you completed in your pre-license program and life experiences as an R.N. Nursing courses focus on complexities of decision making for direct nursing care, management and leadership skills needed for structuring indirect nursing care, and communication in the business environment of the health care setting.
Planning includes the best of block scheduling for face-to-face seminars and use of Adobe Connect for distance learning. Coursework is posted on the Eagle Learning Management System with 24/7 Internet access to assignments, chat rooms, on-line library resources and team forums.
Transcript evaluation gives full recognition of previous education consistent with the Iowa R.N.-B.S.N. Articulation Agreement.

In order to be considered for admission to the nursing program, you must have the following:
Acceptance to William Penn University
Valid unencumbered R.N. license in the state of Iowa
Valid unencumbered Iowa driver license and personal transportation to clinical agencies
Clean felony/abuse and HPDB background check
Immunizations and other health status conditions required by clinical agencies
Personal malpractice insurance, if required
