Through our innovative and successful College for Working Adults (CWA), a degree is within your reach. We meet you where you are…as an adult learner ready for the challenges and rewards that furthering your education will bring. William Penn University is one of Iowa's oldest and most respected institutions offering a convenient, adult-centered way to complete your degree quickly.

THE INTELLIGENT ALTERNATIVE FOR WORKING ADULTS

When you enroll in William Penn University's College for Working Adults program, you choose from two degree-programs: the Associate of Arts in Leadership Studies (AALS) and the Bachelor of Arts in Business (BAB).

CWA programs use the "cohort model" or accelerated model of learning in which small groups of students (no more than 22) progress through the program on a course-by-course basis together. The method relies on the use of student learning teams through in class instruction, projects and group activities. The best part is, classes begin frequently!

Students meet weekly in large and small groups at convenient locations that include West Des Moines, Ames and Oskaloosa, Iowa. Instructors are credentialed professionals with direct experience for a practical, applications-based education. Courses average five weeks in length and are offered in a structured sequence with students completing one course at a time, allowing complete focus in each topic area.
