Parents Council 
William Penn has formed a Parents Council composed of parents of current students. This group meets three times a year (meetings coincide with other events happening on campus) and coordinates events and other activities for parents and students. Other key responsibilities of Parents Council include: oversee Parents Association, assist in planning Parents Weekend, recommend and host regional parent’s events, encourage parents to be involved with the university and provide input on issues affecting William Penn students.
Schedule for Parents Council 2007*
August 18 Parents Council Meeting (Move-in Weekend)
Help welcome students to campus and greet other parents. Host a parents panel answering questions and offering advice.
November 3 Parents Council Meeting (Parents Weekend)
This weekend will hold many fun events for parents and students, including the first gathering of the Parents Association!
*Other meetings may take place via teleconference throughout the year.
