College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Oskaloosa Campus Only
CLEP tests are examinations that allow you to receive credit for knowledge you have acquired in a given area. CLEP provides a reliable and effective means for colleges and universities to grant credit, placement, and exemption by examination to students.
All CLEP exams are administered by computer. One of the advantages tof computer-based testing is that you will have the results of the exam immediately.
CLEP can help you:
- Shorten the time it takes to earn your degree.
- Get college credit for information you have mastered.
- Skip general introductory courses.
- Satisfy a proficiency requirement by demonstrating mastery of the content.
- Save money.
Questions regarding which exam will meet course requirements should be directed to the registrar’s office at 641-673-1082.
